The “self-evident” purpose of government is:

thus, ‘i’, ‘man’, believe in all prosecutions that the man whose Rights the government seeks to secure must be made known to the accused, because,
[a] ‘man’ has the Right to Face his Accuser,
and said Right is secured by the 9th Article of the Bill of Rights,
as well as by the Word of Gød below
